[00:00:00] How do I find time to create content without overwhelming myself? Where should I even be showing up in my marketing? How do I come up with fresh content ideas? Where should I be focusing my marketing efforts? What is lead generation anyways and how do I do it? Are launches still a thing and most importantly, How do I put it all together to market my business strategically?

Can I really grow my business without spending all of my time marketing? These are some of the questions that float around in your head when you think of marketing. Welcome, friend. This is Chasing Simple where Practical Marketing Strategy meets simplicity. I’m your host, Amanda Warfield, simplicity focused content marketing and launch strategist, speaker educator, and author of Chasing Simple Marketing.

I traded in my classroom lesson plans for helping creative entrepreneurs sustainably fit marketing into their business without it taking over their business. So that they have time [00:01:00] to grow their business, take time off and live the life they dreamed about when they first decided to go out on their own.

When I’m working, you can find me working with one-on-one clients, such as the contract shop and Rebecca Rice Photography on their marketing strategy and copywriting, or however my students simplify their marketing and launches. And when I’m not, you can find me spending time outside with my husband, Russell.

Reading in our hammock, watching Gamecock Sports traveling or forcing our cats to snuggle me. If you feel overwhelmed by marketing, you aren’t alone. Many entrepreneurs find marketing frustrating, overwhelming, and simply an obligation. They know they need it, but they don’t enjoy how easily can suck up their time when what they really wanna be doing is the thing that they started their business to do.

Which is why I’m here to help make marketing simple and less time consuming so that you can spend less time on your marketing and more time growing your business and doing what you love. Each week, I’ll offer you transparent conversations, actionable steps, and judgment free [00:02:00] community to encourage and equip you.

So grab yourself a cup of coffee or whatever your drink of choices, and meet me here each week for love, support, practical tips and advice on uncomplicating, your marketing and business. Let’s do this entrepreneurship thing together, shall we? As you can tell from the title of this bonus episode, I have a very exciting announcement for you.

The Launch team application for my upcoming book, chasing Simple Marketing is officially open. And if you haven’t heard the news, I have written a book and it is launching this month, July 26th. Now, this is really exciting because as you know, if you’ve listened to previous events, Previous episodes. I am a huge proponent of batching and I actually batch all of my podcast episodes at least two months in advance.

But for this special bonus episode, because it’s so timely, I am recording [00:03:00] this these same day. It goes live, so it is July 1st as I’m recording this. This never happens and I. Am just in this, this immense state of gratitude, but also surrealness that we are here. This month has been, you know, in my calendar, in my mind, for over a year now.

I started the book writing process, May, 2022. I was at a conference when I started my first mind map and really committed to a specific launch date, which is my 30th birthday coming up later this month because I wanted to have written a book and be published before then. I wanted to have that done by 30, which is definitely an arbitrary goal.

I’ll be really honest. I recognize that, but, It was something that I really wanted to challenge myself to do and to push myself to do. So we are here in launch month and this has been over a year coming and I just. [00:04:00] I can’t believe it truly, it is so surreal, especially because I have just finished this morning making all of the formatting changes to the hard cover and the ebook and the cover should be done.

Monday, hopefully it, there’s like two teeny, teeny, teeny tiny tweaks that need to happen. And so hopefully once those are made by my cover designer, we will be able to put the official stamp of approval on it and get those files ready to go. So we are so close to being done, and that means that we are moving officially into the marketing phase.

There are many different phases to this entire process. You’ve got the writing phase, the revision phase, the publication phase, which is what we are wrapping up now as we’re finishing all of these different [00:05:00] versions and all of the different things that need to be done to, to make them happen. And then you have the.

Marketing phase, and that’s the last official phase. But you’ve also got the actual launch itself, and then you’ve got post-launch marketing, which I’m not gonna get into all of this right now. That’s not the, that’s not the purpose of this episode, but it is really exciting to be moving into that final phase.

And it’s just surreal. It’s so surreal. So that brings me to the purpose of this episode. As we move into this final phase, as we move into launch month, I need your help. I cannot launch this thing on my own. And this book, this project has been the most collaborative project that I have. Ever done in my business or really anywhere.

And so we’re going to just continue that trend and I am going [00:06:00] to ask that if you are someone who is really, really excited about this book coming out, I would love to have you as part of the launch team. So what does that mean? What does the launch team do? Well, If you’ve never been part of a book launch team before, the purpose is simply to help spread the word about the book and also to help get reviews on places like Amazon and Goodreads.

That’s the main goal is let’s get as many people aware of this book as possible. And like I said, I cannot do it alone, which is where the launch team comes in. So my big ask for everyone on the launch team is that you pre-order that physical copy of the book, that hard cover, and then. Everyone on the launch team who pre-orders will also be sent a version of their choosing audio or ebook so that they can immediately dive in.

That way when launch day comes around July 26th, you’ll be able to [00:07:00] actually leave. An accurate and real review of the book because the hard cover, the physical copy, it won’t actually ship until launch day. And so in order to make sure that you have time to leave that review and actually read the book and take it in, you can either get the audiobook or the ebook and you’ll be able to choose whichever one is best for you.

You’ll just let me know that when we communicate once I’ve accepted you onto the launch team. So that’s all you have to do. Pre-ordering your physical copy and then committing to either reading or listening, whichever your choice is, and leaving a review on launch day, which is July 26th. Now, if there are any other ways that you would be willing to support the launch, I would be eternally grateful.

However, those are not required to be part of the team. So I wanted to put this invitation out to you. If you would like to be part of the launch team, just head to Amanda warfield.com/launch team. Again, amanda warfield.com/launch team and fill out the form. It’s just [00:08:00] a few quick questions, and again, Alls you have to be willing to do is to pre-order that physical copy and then leave a review.

So I would be just, oh, so grateful If you would join me in this. If you believe in the message of simplifying your marketing and the necessity of simplifying your marketing, and you wanna help spread the word about how we can do that to other entrepreneurs, I would love for you to come join me on the launch team.
